Customer Service Representative

Schedule: 

4 Hours per Week Saturdays 1:00 – 5:00 pm

Duties: 
  • Assist patrons with printers, photocopier, fax, scanner, computers
  • Shelve magazines, newspapers, and books and keep areas tidy.
  • Assist Interlibrary Loan Coordinator as needed
  • Communicate technical issues to library IT Department
  • Assist with special library projects, such as photocopying for health outreach and Annual Magazine Sale.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Ability: 

This position is for someone who models patience and empathy while serving our diverse library patrons. This individual must be well organized, pay close attention to detail, and have clear language, speaking and writing skills. Knowledge of computers and comfort using technology is required.

Education, Minimum Training and Experience: 

Open to all applicants age 16 and up

Physical Standards: 

This position requires the physical ability to carry out employment responsibilities, including bending, kneeling and stretching to handle materials; moving and lifting equipment and loaded materials carts and trucks.

Salary: 

$15.13 per hour
